We cater for both small and large events, both at the hotel and any outside venue; from barns and marquees to your local village hall. There are many different ways of accommodating a function at the Crown, with the restaurant, the club room, the coach house and the main garden. In addition, Clare House has extensive grounds in which marquees are easily situated, lending itself well to hosting weddings.

The restaurant and club room are ideal as dining function areas, for both family occasions and business lunches. Both rooms can be reserved exclusively for these occasions, without any extra cost if you are dining with us.

The main garden can easily hold a marquee seating one hundred guests.

Our coach house function room is ideal for smaller groups, from small business conferences to Christening parties to club meetings. It opens out on to a small enclosed courtyard style garden, which is perfect for enjoying in the sunshine, but can also hold a small marquee in case of unpredictable weather.

We cater for all function needs, from tea / coffee & simple buffet menus, to full course meals. We create menus on request, accommodating individual tastes, price ranges and any dietary requirements.

We also supply outside bars, for any occasion and any location. There is no charge for this, except for the nominal licence fee which we will arrange for you with the appropriate council and this is only necessary when the venue does not already have its own licence.
